timezones

before i had a second life i didnt think too much about timezones. sure, when i call family overseas i have to count the hours forward or back on my fingers. but as a general statement timezones were never were something i gave much thought to before. now pretty much every day i think "grrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr" time farkin' zones. its hard enough to figure out my time vs. sl time and then when you add it the + or - for someone else it can get pretty confusing.

sometimes it makes planning events odd too. one person is drinking coffee and just waking up and the other is settling down for an evening of fun. what can you do in sl that feels right? sometimes its a challenge. most of the time my answer is dancing or sitting on the deck, looking at the linden ocean and talking. which is what i did this morning with my friend ken.
